Project: Wine Cellar Manager - A software for Symbian Smartphones

The goal is, to develop a software for Symbian S60 3rd Edition based smartphones which has following capabilities and features:

- inventory of wine cellar (bottles, quantity, price, source/supplier, taste rating, ...)
- manage the list of wine suppliers and shops (address e.g. from "Contacts" application)
- statistical overviews like
- total number of bottles, total value (price) in $ or EUR
- consumption per month (bottles, value (price))
- top ten consumption (which wine runs most)
- top ten best wines (taste rating)
- total number of bottles / value per supplier
- top ten suppliers of my wine cellar inventory
- ...
- shop link: have a link for each wine in the cellar database to the related online shop, where it was bought (if it was bought online :-) to order new stuff from there
- price link: a link for each wine in the cellar database to have a lookup at froogle.com or google.com (the search engine should be changeable/customizable)
- usage of features from the Nokia E90 (wide screen support)

Additional must haves:
- software under GNU GPL v2 or v3
- multi-language support, at least German
- programming language should be Python (software can run in source code on any Symbian OS smartphone)

Some optional (no really necessary) enhancements:
1) location based services: integration of the phones GPS-module to locate nearest wine supplier (show contact/address, maybe display location on the map) on demand

2) online wine database integration: possibility to create a connection to an internet based wine databases like Johnson to know, what kind of stuff is in the cellar (click on a wine in the wine cellar manager and have a lookup to the online database to see, what wine it is and how it is rated by Johnson)

3) portability: due to Python as programming language it should be relative easy to port the software to other plattforms on demand
