Project: DL-Learner GUI

DL-Learner (http://dl-learner.org, http://sf.net/projects/dl-learner) is a machine learning tool for OWL and Description Logics. It has recently been restructured, such that is is now easy to write different interfaces for it. Currently, a command line and a web service interface are developed for it. It would be very convenient to have a GUI (Java based, e.g. using the Swing or SWT framework) for the tool, which would allow for easy configuration of the involved components.

    The GUI should automatically extend itself or require only a minimum amount of programming/configuration effort when new learning algorithms, learning problems, reasoners, or knowledge sources become available. It should also be flexible in handling configuration options for these components. (DL-Learner already provides the functionalities to implement flexible interfaces.)
