Project: Amazon EC2 AMI for MySQL Cluster
Amazon's Elastic Computation Cloud [1] enables to deploy Linux images on an hourly, pay-as-you go basis. For deployed LAMP Web applications, with high traffic peaks it would be great if EC2 could be used to deploy a database or even Web application cluster, which scales as traffic increases.
This project's aim is to create an Amazon Machine Image (AMI) containing the applications, libraries, data and associated configuration settings for deploying a MySQL cluster.
