Project: Virtuoso as storage plugin for MySQL
MySQL offers a pluggable storage engine architecture [1]
The task is to implement a storage engine plugin wrapper for the Virtuoso Universal Server [2].
Such an storage engine plugin will provide enormous advantages for both MySQL and Virtuoso users. MySQL users, for example, can seamlessly access Virtuoso databases directly from within their usual environment. Virtuoso users will benefit from the wealth of tools and applications available for MySQL, such as PHPMyAdmin.
