Project: WYSIWYG-Designer for FO
XSL-FO is a standard format to describe document layouts. There are a few open source rendering engines to produce (e.g.) pdf from fo. Unfortunately FO is quite verbose and propably not everybody intends to write documents using XSL-FO. A native FO-Designer would help very much in this case. On the other hand side, a tool to convert from other formats to FO could be an interesting approach as well. A simple idea would be, to create an xslt-file to transform from OpenOffice, MS-Office (xml-Documents) or (my favourite) from Scribus.
